Records show that John McCain, he of the seven houses, did not donate to his presidential campaign. Neither did Sarah Palin. Joe Biden didn’t chip in for his own national run either. Mayor Richard Daley also has a closed wallet when it comes to funding his or anybody else’s campaign.

Michelle has a long list of actaul issues, and certainly had a fascinating career rise, but the $400 lunch at the Waldorf was a fabricated story.

Contributing to his own campaign doesn't bother me as much as Michelle spending over $400 for lunch for herself only if I remember correctly. All those little people sending in their five bucks should be gratified to know that part of it went to pay for her lobster lunch etc. The other thing that really bothers me is that Obama couldn't make it back to his grandmother's funeral. What kind of person does that?
