Clinton Blows Out Obama Again: 68-32

Sen. Hillary Clinton has won Puerto Rico’s Democratic primary by a wide margin, CNN projects, giving her the larger share of the territory’s 55 delegates. She swept Sen. Barack Obama in every major demographic group, including groups he generally does well in, such as younger voters and higher income voters, exit polls suggest.

Remember when it was a bad thing to suggest that the superdelegates would be necessary to decide the Democratic Party nomination contest? The Obama campaign was outraged at the suggestion that Clinton would be chosen as the nominee by relying upon the superdelegates. Now, when it is clear that neither Obama or Clinton can win a sufficient number of delegates by the electoral process, Obama has reversed himself and it is fine and dandy if the superdelegates pull his sorry candidacy across the finish line. Maybe it is another form of affirmative action.
