Firing a warning shot across the deck of the entire media, Sen. Barack Obama warned the press against covering subjects which he does not like. Stating “If they think that they’re going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful”, Sen. Obama made clear that he does not want his full time campaigning wife scrutinized, as his political opponents could benefit from this scrutiny.
(Isn’t Obama supposed to be the Web 2.0 candidate? How dare his opponents have the audacity to use YouTube to highlight controversial points that the mainstream media have neglected to cover.)
So we are faced with an editorial decision. Should we let Sen. Obama dictate what he wants covered during this campaign, or report as if there is a free and independent press in this country?
The answer is a simple one. The First Amendment guarantees the Freedom of the Press, even when it does not assist the Obama campaign. So today, The Chicago Daily Observer will be dedicated to publishing a series of articles scrutinizing and investigating Michelle Obama.
Sen. Obama, we respectfully deny your request for a free pass.

Still waiting for an explanation from Michelle Obama regarding the thoughts published in her thesis, when she attended Princeton, her comments in Wisconsin,if she saw the Reverend Wright speak his hate speech and if she read the Reverend Wright's church bulletin, in which he expanded on his hate speech in writing.

Hats off to the Observer for doing their job! You will probably see a sharp increase in your readership as a result and it will be well earned.
One question I have is, Michelle Obama stated she and Barack understood the pain of having to pay back large student loans. Did they, in fact, have student loans at all?
Another question is the explanation of the sharp increase in Michelle's salary after Barack won the U.S. Senate race in Illinois - and further, is she continuing to receive any compensation as she campaigns full-time?
Thanks for shedding light!

Obama does not get it, because his handlers will not allow him to get it.
Senator is a packaged as Madonna and he loses the votes that he can not win without.
Yesterday, I had a lovely chat with some folks about the mystery surrounding Sen. Obama's appeal - no mystery, just great makeup and press copy.
The problem lies in the DNC's orchestration and packaging that sneers at every American (black, white, Hispanic, Muslim, Jewish, Mormon,Protestant, Catholic, Shriner, or decaffinated) who does not embrace the doctrines so 'in-your-faces' on HUFFPO, Kos, MSNBC, Air America, or in Ward Churchill's library of graphic novels.
Progressives tend to be single or married with no kids, affluent, trendy, health rigorous, college degreed, transient and loud.
Most Americans have children, one spouse, at least one mortgage, one career/vocation/trade at least - unless you are a Chicago Fireman and have Daley Days on which you pour concrete, paint, do insurance, or write for the Atlantic - live in communities and vote.
Obama's packaging ignores this demographic at best and has utter contempt for it 24/7.
Protecting Michelle and attacking Cindy McCain is one of the ribbons on Obama's wrapping.
